4 chicken breasts or chicken thighs
3 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper
1 lemon
1. Place chicken in a bowl and marinate in lemon juice for 10 minutes. Heat BBQ on high for the 10
minutes and then turn down to medium.
2. Generously cover chicken with fresh ground pepper and sea salt. Slice lemon into at least 4
slices.
3. Place lemon slices directly on bbq and then place chicken on top. This will allow the lemon
flavour to cook directly into the chicken. After about 5 minutes place chicken directly on bbq.
Flip lemon slices to cook off any chicken, then remove and reserve for serving with chicken.
Continue to cook chicken until no pink remains.
4. You may add additional pepper and salt after chicken is completely cooked.
Note: If you are cooking chicken thighs you may have to finish in the oven to avoid burning the
chicken. I usually fry each side of the chicken and then place in 350F oven for 20-30 minutes.
