COE Level 2 – Weightlifting Training Camp

OVERVIEW:

This course is designed for those who are currently active within the sport of weightlifting and have competed in the past.  The goal of this course is to continue the educational process for lifters competing in the sport and enhance their movement ability and understanding of proper technical execution of the lifts. Additionally the course will provide a very unique training environment for all those in attendance.

Course Content:

The camp will provide both practical and lecture based content with a heavy focus of hands on learning.  We believe it is important to “learn to do by doing”, which means everything will occur in the gym and the lecture based content will all take place in the gym as well.  Course content will include;

– Proper warm-up protocols for optimal training.

– 3-4 Training sessions including all major lifts in a high energy team oriented environment.

– Hip mobility testing and drills to address weaknesses and short ROM’s and improve performance.

– Overhead mobility testing with drills to address weakness and short ROM’s to improve performance.

– Nutritional lectures on eating for optimal weightlifting performance.

– Proper meet warm-up protocols and opening attempt selection

– Competitive and challenging training “tests”

Cost:

$75 for full two day camp

**Price includes a Synergy Strength Weightlifting T-Shirt and one meal each day during lunch break.
