Randy Hills (AKA R.Hills) started at SYNERGY in Jan of 2010. Days after he started, his wife Janet (little Hills) was on board, and then their daughter Sarah (S.Hills) was hooked only a couple months later. The Hills family are some of the most amazing people you will ever meet, as well as some of the most welcoming and supportive members of SYNERGY. They each started here for something different, like so many do, and found a second home so that it is now not an effort to come to the gym, they just do cause they love it – the community, the friendships, the support, the results. It has become a huge part of their life, with Sunday suppers now a constant discussion of CrossFit shenanigans 😛
R.Hills (Randy) has over doubled his back squat from when he first started, now nearing 300lbs. His progress has been epic and his attitude even more so – “I like making new people feel welcome.”
Little Hills (Janet) started to gain strength for her endurance activities and did she ever – only being able to pick up about 85lbs when she first started, she is now over 130lbs. The thing she loves most about SYNERGY is “the support from the people that you get from working out beside you.”
S.Hills (Sarah) started with a very active background, including cheerleading, but “was looking for something different.” She gained so much more than she envisioned, and one of biggest highlights for her was when she could snatch her bodyweight – a feat that not many females can say they can do.
