What’s one interesting thing about you that other members may not know?
That’s tricky haha I can’t think of anything super interesting about myself really! I’m just your average broke student going to school. I work part time at the running room so I spend a lot of time critiquing how strangers walk. My dream job is to be a sports doctor and my favorite snack is a bowl full of chocolate chips. My favorite benchmark workout is the “Filthy 50”.
What is your most memorable moment at Synergy Strength?
One of the most memorable moments at synergy was walking into the new facility after we moved last year. I had no idea how huge it was going to be! Pretty sure my jaw actually dropped. It was memorable because everyone was so excited about the new location that nobody even complained about their Fran lung after their workout. The next most memorable moment would be from just a few months ago when I finally did Fran RX’ed. I never wanted to take the red bands off until Aileen forced me to. I was aiming for 7 minutes and got a time of 6:58 so that was pretty exciting
When you talk about Synergy Strength with friends, what do you brag about?
I like to brag to my friends and family about the programming at Synergy. I talk about how the workouts we do are not just your basic “leg day” or “bi’s and tri’s day”, they incorporate full body movements that are way more beneficial. I tell them that they need to come to synergy and experience a workout that will kick their butt and actually improve their strength dramatically! I also brag about how I never have to dread going to the gym, and am always being motivated by coaches and members during the workouts.
What does #synergystrong mean to you?
When I think of “Synergy Strong” I automatically think of the confidence that our members have as a result of being apart of the community. It is super evident that all synergy members are confident, proud, hard working, and overall super happy people! To me, Synergy Strong has nothing to do with how much weight you put on your bar. It refers to the mental power that is gained after each workout knowing you pushed yourself to the max and didn’t cut any corners.
What is you favorite aspect of Synergy Strength?
One of my favorite aspects is the programming. Like I said above, it’s the main thing a brag about to friends. I love that I don’t have to desperately find the motivation to go to the gym and hop on a treadmill. The workouts at synergy are always fun, and I actually look forward to going to the gym. I like that the workouts incorporate full body movements so I know they are actually improving my health and overall fitness. It’s nice knowing that the workouts are well thought out by Chad so I don’t have to worry that I’m not getting stronger. I also love that you always have a workout buddy when you arrive for class. And everyone is so motivating to help you through the tough workouts.
