Participants needed – Older Adults strength training research project @ Synergy Strength

Synergy Strength in collaboration with Boss Strength Institute and the University of Saskatchewan’s Integrative Clinical Exercise Physiology department are embarking on a brand new research project involving high intensity functional interval training and high intensity resistance training.  We are looking for 24 eager participants to take part in a 10 week study of 3x/week training at Synergy Strength , which will involved pre/post physical testing, movement familiarization, 6 weeks of training, and much more education and training experience.

Co-investigators:

Philip Chilibeck, PhD, Evelyn Pata, MSc student, and Chad Benko, BScKin

 **Volunteers needed, age 55+ years old **

We are looking for male and female older adults who are willing to participate in high intensity functional interval training or high intensity resistance training for a total of 9 weeks of testing and training. Participants should not have any medical conditions that would affect the ability to exercise. Participants should be active. Proper exercise technique will be taught and monitored closely.

This study is being conducted at Synergy Strength and Conditioning and the School of Physical Therapy, University of Saskatchewan.
