BEASTS: 60 S2OH, 2 lengths OH Walking Lunge, 60 Power Cleans, 2 lengths Bear Crawl – for time.
Athlete starts behind their bar facing the spectators, hands can not be touching the bar. On the go signal, they have to complete 60 reps of shoulders to overhead. After they complete their 60th rep, they take one of the plates off their bar. Starting with both feet behind the line, and the plate overhead, they must lunge all the way to the end of the arena (approx 50 ft), cross the line, and lung all the way back across the line to their bar. They must put the plate (and clip) back on the bar. Then they must complete 60 power cleans. Once they are done their 60th rep, they must get down into bear crawl position with both of their hands behind the line, bear crawl all the way to the end of the arena (approx 50 ft), cross the line, and bear crawl all the way back across the line. The time is stopped when their full body crosses the line.
SCORING: for time. (12 min time cap. one second added for each rep not completed.)
WEIGHTS: females – 85#/25# plate lunge, males – 135#/45# plate lunge

Athlete 1 starts behind their bar facing the spectators, hands can not be touching the bar. Athlete 2 is under the rig. On the go signal, athletes work together to complete 100 reps of shoulders to overhead, with only one athlete working at once. Each time they want to switch they have to tag (make some point of contact) their partner under the rig. After they complete their 100th rep, the partner under the rig comes to the bar (no tag required) and they each take off one of the plates from the bar. Starting in single file (one athlete behind the other) with both feet of the front athlete behind the line, and the plate overhead, they must lunge all the way to the end of the arena (approx 50 ft). Both athletes must cross the line, and then they can turn around and lunge all the way back across the line to their bar. They must stay in single file all the way down and back and stay together (within approx 10 feet), so judge can keep track of both athletes. Once they return to the bar, they both must put the plate (and clip) back on the bar. One partner goes back under the rig and that gives the go for the other athlete to start the cleans. Again, athletes work together to complete 100 reps of cleans, with only one athlete working at once. Each time they want to switch they have to tag (make some point of contact) their partner under the rig. Starting in single file (one athlete behind the other) with both hands of the front athlete behind the line, and each athlete in bear crawl position, they must bear crawl all the way to the end of the arena (approx 50 ft). Both athletes must cross the line, and then they can turn around and bear crawl all the way back across the line. They must stay in single file all the way down and back and stay together (within approx 10 feet), so judge can keep track of both athletes. The time is stopped when both athletes fully cross the line.

STANDARDS:
S2OH:Bar must start on the shoulder with some form of contact. At the top position, the bar must finish overhead under control with feet together and full lock out of knees, hips, shoulders and elbows. You may get the bar overhead however you want (press, push press, push jerk, split jerk). WATCH VIDEO
OH Walking Lunge:Athletes will need to take a plate off of bar, and when completed the lunging distance, returned the plate to bar with clamp(s) fully secured. Athlete must start with both feet behind the line with plate above head not touching any part of body. For each lunge the athletes knee must touch the floor and then stand to full extension with knees and hips locked out and feet together (without the plate touching any part of body). No stutter steps in between lunge steps will be allowed. If this is not maintained, judge will ask you to come back to the spot in which the error was made. For BRUTES, this will mean your partner will also have to come back with you. WATCH VIDEO
Power Clean: Bar starts on the ground. At the top position, the bar must finish resting on your shoulder (some point of contact) with elbows in front of the bar and full lock out of knees and hips, and feet together. No bouncing off the floor or tossing bar off top position will be allowed. WATCH VIDEO
Bear Crawl: Must start will both feel and hands touching the floor and behind the line. Full palm must be in contact with the floor. At least one hand and one foot have to maintain contact with the floor at all times. Must fully pass line in this fashion – no early stand up to get across the line. If this is not maintained, judge will ask you to come back to the spot in which the error was made. For BRUTES, this will mean your partner will also have to come back with you. WATCH VIDEO
